BMW Brand Ambassador.
“What BMW is doing is unparalleled.”
In August 2003, 18-year-old Martin Kaymer was invited to the BMW International Open for the first time – and immediately caught the eye: the young man from Mettmann became only the second amateur in the history of the European Tour event to make the cut in Munich. Five years later Kaymer, now a rising star on the international golf scene, once again made history at his home tournament, becoming the first German ever to win the BMW International Open – and on the 20th anniversary of the event.
Today, Martin Kaymer and BMW can look back on a successful relationship: “It makes me very proud to act as BMW Brand Ambassador and to be able to represent the company,” said Martin Kaymer. “BMW has been making its mark on the golf scene for decades and has played a major role in its development both nationally and internationally. That is unparalleled.”
