Here, you can find useful information to help you plan your visit to the BMW PGA Championship. Please note: All Public Ticket holders (including advance ticket holders) will be directed to a Park and Ride site. Read more below.

22nd May:

First round of the BMW PGA Championship 2014.
Gates open 6:30 AM.

Friday,
23rd May:

Second round of the BMW PGA Championship 2014 – followed by the cut.
Gates open 6:30 AM.

Saturday,
24th May:

Third round of the BMW PGA Championship 2014 with the top 65 players and all those on the same score. Play begins depending on cut size.

Sunday,
25th May:

Final round of the BMW PGA Championship 2014.
Play begins depending on cut size.
Prize giving ceremony on 18th Green.

Getting to and from the event

FREE PARK AND RIDE FOR ALL PUBLIC SPECTATORS ATTENDING THE EVENT.

All Public Ticket holders (including advance ticket holders) will be directed to a Park and Ride site.

SUNNINGDALE Park and Ride: Located at Broomhall Farm, Sunningdale SL5 0HD. This will be for spectators travelling from the SOUTH and EAST (M3, A30, M25 South and East).

ASCOT Park and Ride: Located adjacent to Royal Ascot Racecourse, Ascot SL5 7JX. This will be for spectators travelling from the NORTH AND WEST (M4, M25, London).

Please only follow your Sat Nav systems until you pick up the "AA" event signage, when we would ask you to please follow the yellow AA signs to the relevant park and rides.

All car parking is free and there is a free bus shuttle from the park and rides to the championship village at the BMW PGA Championship.

The Park and Ride Car Parks will open from 06.00am on Tournament Days and from 07.00am on Practice Days.

Tuesday 20th May: 08.00hrs – 18.00hrs

Wednesday 21st May: 07.00hrs – 19.00hrs

Thursday 22nd May: 06.30hrs – 21.00hrs

Friday 23rd May: 06.30hrs – 21.00hrs

Saturday 24th May: 06.45hrs – 19.30hrs

Sunday 25th May: 06.45hrs – 19.30hrs

The bus shuttle service will run continuously throughout the day.

Spectators are reminded to follow the “AA” event signage which will be in place directing them to the correct off-site car parks for onward travel to the BMW PGA Championship. There will be no access to the Wentworth estate for spectators vehicles except those displaying valid car park labels or BMW Owners.

 

BMW OWNERS, OFFICIAL BADGE HOLDERS AND PRE-PAID PARKING (NOT PRE-PAID TICKETS).

BMW Owners, Official Badge Holders and pre-paid parking will be able to park on site as in previous years. There will be NO parking charge for BMW Owners and Official Badge Holders.

If you are travelling in a BMW Group vehicle (MINI & Rolls-Royce) you do not need a car park label, just follow the event signage to BMW Owners’ Car Park. If you have a dedicated car park label please follow the event signage to your car park label.

Pre-Paid Parking labels will be issued in advance with Car Park 8 label passes. Please follow the event signage to Car Park 8 and Pre-Paid Parking. Please expect to walk approximately up to 30 minutes from the BMW Owners’ Car Park to the entrance of the Championship Village; depending on where you are allocated parking on arrival.

 

TRAVEL BY TRAIN.

Virginia Water Station is only a five minute bus trip from the entrance to the Welcome Pavilion and a FREE shuttle service will run on a continuous loop.

DISABLED CUSTOMERS.

There will be dedicated reserved disabled car park bays at both Park and Ride Car Parks for those spectators who have vehicles displaying a blue badge.

Wheelchair users and those who cannot avail of the FREE public park and ride shuttle scheme should contact our hotline on 0800 023 2557 or email tickets@europeantour.com for further arrangements.

It is reminded that blue badge holders will not automatically be admitted access to the Wentworth estate. Any spectator who requires special assistance and parking on site must contact 0800 023 2557 or email tickets@europeantour.com to ensure they are issued with a car park label to access the event.
