2011 BMW Pro-Am Challenge.

The BMW International Open is the only European Tour tournament on German soil. BMW is not only offering golf fans the chance to experience the stars of the game live – but also to play a round with them. With a mixture of luck and skill, this dream can come true for anyone. Following the huge success of the past two years, BMW is once again organising three BMW International Open Pro-Am Challenge tournaments in 2011:

16th May at Golfclub Neuhof e.V. in Frankfurt

1st June at Gut Kaden Golf und Land Club in Hamburg

18th June at Golf Club München Eichenried

Take the sporting route to qualify for the Pro-Am tournament at one of Europe’s most prestigious professional golf events. Teams of three  will compete against each other under tournament conditions (Florida scramble over nine holes) on the championship course at Frankfurt's Golfclub Neuhof, the former European Tour Championship course at Gut Kaden, or long-time tournament course for the BMW International Open at Golfclub München Eichenried. The tournaments will be played in two groups, whereby the first group will play holes 1 to 9 and group two will play holes 10 to 18. The winning teams in each group will then go head-to-head in a thrilling shoot-out for the main prize: the victorious trio will be rewarded with a starting place at the Pro-Am tournament at the 2011 BMW International Open.

The three members of each winning team will play in a round with a world-class professional on 22nd June (Wednesday) – definitely a dream come true for many amateur golfers. It goes without saying that the Pro-Am Draw Party on the Tuesday evening and the exclusive Pro-Am Dinner after the tournament are also included in this one-off experience.

Those interested can register as a team, or as individuals. To guarantee a fair competition, the total handicap of all three players in a team must be at least 40.0  (e.g., 38.0 is not permitted), and no player must have a handicap higher than 36.0 (key date for the calculation is the day of registration at the respective venue). After the official registration deadline, a draw will be made, in accordance with the HCP specifications, to place individual entrants into teams.

Registration can only take place via this website.
