German Max Kieffer enjoyed a successful amateur career and, since turning pro in 2010, has enjoyed a rapid rise through the lower echelons and into the premier league of European golf: the European Tour. Here too, he has emphatically showcased his ability on the grand stage. BMW has supported Max Kieffer on his journey to the top since 2013.
As well as possessing a great game, one of Kieffer’s biggest attributes is his mental strength – a fact the German demonstrated emphatically at the Open de España in April 2013. For nine play-off holes, the Tour newcomer more than held his own against the experienced Raphael Jacquelin before eventually yielding to the Frenchman after more than two hours of “extra time” and the longest play-off in European Tour history.
His personality, exceptional golfing talent and demeanour make him an ideal ambassador for the BMW Golfsport commitment.
