On the BMW Golfsport Facebook channel, the fans can be part of the biggest virtual car parade of the 2018 Ryder Cup. An augmented reality filter will enable Facebook users to film themselves with a BMW X5 – either with the US or Europe livery – giving them a fun way to share their support of one of the two teams with their friends. Twelve lucky winners will experience the Ryder Cup up close and personal with BMW. Over the past few months, BMW Golfsport set tasks for their fans via their social media channels, as well as at selected BMW tournaments on the European Tour. The winners of these twelve challenges were selected for Ryder Cup Team BMW and invited to Paris, where they will not only witness the epic duel between the USA and Europe, but will also meet the captain of Ryder Cup Team BMW on several occasions: José Maria Olazábal, the father of the “Miracle of Medinah”.
