BMW International Open 2022 Championship Village
BMW International Open 2022 Championship Village

The BMW International Open is a top-class event, both on and off the fairways. Together with the BMW exhibition, the Championship Village offers plenty of infotainment on the subject of golf, with many stand-out vehicles and promotions from tournament partners.

Among other things, you can experience the BMW X7 and BMW 8 Series, the exterior design of which has been given a thrilling facelift. In an exclusive showroom, you can also explore the hole-in-one car for the 2022 BMW International Open: the BMW i7. As the world’s first fully fledged luxury limousine with 100% electric drive, it brings innovative driving pleasure to the streets with a range of over 600 kilometres.

This year’s place to be is the event tent – home to the BMW i exhibition, at the centre of which are the fully electric flagships: the BMW iX and BMW i4. There is also a bar, where, from Thursday to Sunday, a DJ will bring the evening to a relaxed close after an exciting day of golf.

The big screen in the Championship Village shows live footage from the fairways and greens, as well as the NTT Data Experience, with extensive player statistics in real time – a golfing experience with an unparalleled level of detail.

Another attraction not to be missed is the BMW Golfsport Challenge, which allows you to demonstrate your golfing skills and win fantastic prizes. You have one minute to hit as many balls as possible onto a green roughly 80 metres away. The closest ball to the hole at the end of the day wins a set of Goodyear tyres. Other Callaway prizes are also up for grabs. As if that were not enough, there is also a hole-in-one car on offer: the first ace of the tournament week will be rewarded with a BMW iX, which the winner can use free of charge for six months.
