    UBS Hong Kong Open

The UBS Hong Kong Open is a particularly special event on the tournament calendar for Míguel Ángel Jiménez. It was here that the Spaniard broke his own record in 2013, when he defended his title and, at the age of 49 years and 337 days, strengthened his grip on the title of ‘oldest winner on the European Tour’. The “Mechanic” has since raised that bar yet further in May 2014. The record now stands at 50 years and 133 days. The event at the Hong Kong Golfclub has been a fixture on the European Tour since 2001. Some of the best players in the world have won here, including Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie and Ian Woosnam. BMW supports the event as “Official Supplier”.
